Everyone deals with break-ups differently, and now people who have been heartbroken have taken to Reddit to share their best remedies for getting over someone.
The thread, which received over 300 comments in less than 24 hours, included tips such as taking the opportunity to go travelling to the less advisable advice of sleeping around.

From sleeping around to keeping busy and turning to travel, people have shared their experiences in the hopes that it might help somebody else
However, some admitted that they had struggled to cope with the end of a relationship and one entered a depressive hibernation, straining all of their social ties in the process.
While making a vow to block all forms of contact, he ended up refreshing his ex-girlfriend’s social media page constantly to see what she was up to.
The Redditor even turned to religious means to try and find fulfillment but nothing really worked. He also tried cake, he added.
Another claimed that sleeping with ‘lots and lots of men’ was the easy way to get over the end of a relationship.

A fellow Redditor agreed, saying that in all honesty what got them through it was having a one-night-stand with a friend of a friend.
Najsb took to the forum to say that they had to block and delete all forms of contact with their ex and start doing lots of walks and new hobbies.

However, Najsb also recommended not holding back any tears and to let yourself feel it because it will eventually pass.

Unfortunately, some people were brutally honest and admitted that they never really did get over their break-up.
